Outfit: Easy Rider.

The print of the shirt and the kimono meant to be worn together - the colors match so well! The shirt is made of dreams, it's the softest shirt I've ever owned and it feels so good on your skin even when the weather is super hot. I think it's also the most perfect biker shirt ever, it expresses all my wanderlust, my dream to hit the road immediately and my love for the nature in the US. Somehow it reminds me of the road near Palm Springs, next to Coachella Valley. The fact that the print doesn't start at the beginning of the neckline is also beneficial when you're a statement necklace junkie as I am - the print won't be hidden. ;-D
Btw: if you search for comfortable shorts especially for hot summer days: Wearing crochet shorts is the best choice, trust me. Even if I have many denim shorts in my wardrobe, I prefer my lace shorts instead when it's hot, because they are definitely more comfortable and flattering. I own a white pair and a black pair, but here I went for the white ones, because I didn't want the outfit to be too dark.

Outfit: Counting stars.

Lace dress: 6ks || Indian print scarf: Market || Breastplate necklace: Shop Sparrow via Hellaholics || Concho belt: Market || Boots: Zara

Summer's here again woohoo! I got this beautiful crochet dress from 6ks and it's perfect for colder summer mornings, because you actually have to wear a slip dress underneath - it's verrry sheer. The whole combo is brown, turquoise and white what I love. In my opinion scarves can add edge to every look, especially these light and soft ones are perfect for summer and can replace a vest. I got this beautiful scarf from the local market where they have loads of different indian printed silk scarves, this one immediately caught my eye because of it's beautiful brown/goldish and purple patterns. Furthermore there are elephants on it (soooo cute). The whole look is also very festival and boho inspired like 99% of my summer outfits, I guess haha.

The last days were actually quite unexciting, I'm dreaming of packing my stuff and traveling to new places. I'm dreaming of seeing the ocean again, long beach walks at night and exploring the world's beauty. Hopefully soon.

Weekly Update #4

New in…
I bought some new jewelry - I'm so in love. Here you can see my hand piece I don't want to take off anymore and another bracelet. I'm planning a post about my jewelry collection btw, I also want to share some ideas with you where to find awesome vintage treasures!

(hand piece available on eBay)
Inspired…
by the new lookbook of Lip Service - dark, magical and a mixture of boho / goth. This makes me even looking forward to autumn and it's dark days. Awesome!

Watched…
Actually my parents constantly watch the Football World Cup, to me it's quite boring. I've never been into that kind of sports, I preferred watching my Pretty Little Liars DVDs instead haha. :-) I love these tv series so much, it's perfect made and so exciting! And c'mon Hanna and Caleb are sooo cute together!!
BUT: The german match (I have to admit that I watch ALL german matches, because it's my home country, you know) was exciting as hell! I mean, 7 goals?? Brazil only got 1 goal? That's unbelievably amazing. Of course I'm going to watch the final tonight, Germany for the win!! . :-)

Listened…
I love listening to the new Remixes of "Recess" by Skrillex and I found an awesome track called "You're A Woman, I'm A Machine" by Death From Above 1979. It's punk rock and a really cool track. It's worth checking it out :-)

Wishlist…
I've wanted that dress for ages, it's sold out in my size though. I really would love to have it, hopefully it will be restocked in the future, arrrgh

Outfit: Never Surrender.

• Def Leppard tee: Urban Outfitters
• Lacework cut-off denim shorts: 6ks
• Breastplate festival necklace: Shop Sparrow via Hellaholics
• Tribal necklace: Urban Outfitters
• Midi rings: Infinitine
• "Dioon" Boots: Vagabond

I took the pictures of this look when it was super hot, now I really miss the weather - it's raining all time time and it's cold right now - where's summer??? I love wearing tank tops with huge arm holes in summer, they're perfectly fluttering and it looks cool when you can get a sneak peek at the side of your bra or bikini. Of course it's a band shirt from a band I really like - band tees add an rock edge to every look. Here you can also see my new denim shorts with a cute lace detail on each side from 6ks, the quality is amazing even though they aren't pricy at all. The delivery was also quite fast and safe from China, they have so many cute stuff on their website! I also ordered a summer dress from them I'm going to show you in the next post. And YES I finally found a breastplate necklace!! I had wanted one for ages, I found the perfect one by Shop Sparrow - it looks awesome together with printed biker shirts or band tees - it's also great for layering!

Shopping ideas: Casual edge

Casual edge: How to be casual & comfortable without looking boring

I'm sure all of you know those days when you wake up, don't want to care about picking an outfit and just want to be comfortable. Or when you go to school, to work or university and don't want to spend thoughts on anything. Of course you should avoid total edgy and uncomfortable dresses, skirts or sheer blouses, it's all about creating an effortless look. I know "norm core" (only wearing basics, one-colored, unexciting clothes, slippers…) is a huge topic in fashion magazines or blogs these days, but in my opinion being "casual" and effortless don't mean to dress like everyone else or to look boring. In order to make outfits look more exciting, you should never go without any accessories. A one-colored shirt looks way more exciting when you wear an eye-catching statement necklace, bright scarf, ring or edgy items like for example hand harnesses. I think all people decided to pick denim pants very often when they put on a casual look  - to me distressed and destroyed denim looks edgier and cooler than the usual blue jeans. Destroyed and washed effects also make shorts look more interesting. When it's summer and hot outside I usually go for denim shorts, a printed shirt and a kimono cover-up. It's so comfortable and laid-back looking, I would call it my signature style I wear the most. When it's colder I still want to wear my denim shorts and wear them together with some tights and a warmer jacket - my most worn styles are leather jackets, denim jackets and oversized parka jackets. But on some days I rather pick a skinny jeans, usually destroyed look (you can easily wear some skin-colored sheer tights underneath when it's winter). Furthermore I only wear printed shirts, I love art on tees as well as biker shirts or band shirts. Of course I would never wear my platform heels when I dress more comfortable, I always go for my Doc Martens, my vagabond ankle boots w/ a smaller platform, my western booties or studded biker boots. (I would never believe someone telling me 5 - 6 inch platforms are the most comfortable shoes. never.)
I'm one of those girls who constantly wear jewelry like tons of rings, a statement necklaces and lots of bracelets (I couldn't leave the house without them, I simply love having some of my treasures on my fingers, arms and neck all the time and I got used to it, they doesn't disturb me at all), but I know many people are annoyed by wearing lots of jewelry - so if you one of them, you probably should decide for one eye-catching piece instead of wearing many different ones.

Shopping tips:
Here I picked some pieces which go with everything at every time, are comfortable & resemble most of my clothes for daily looks in my wardrobe - my 1st choice: The Glamorous UK destroyed acid washed grey skinny jeans which I ordered, too. It's a real bargain (~  40 €), the quality is great and it's the exact version of the very pricy One Teaspoon Freebirds  skinny jeans(~ 150 €). I've already been looking forward to wearing them in fall together with my leather jackets.

Outfit: Flowers on my mind.

Gypsy Queen floral playsuit: Spell Designs || Tribal kuchi necklace: Market (similar on eBay.de or eBayUS ) || Rings: vintage findings ; Regal Ros|| studded Boots: Zara (AW'12 season)

You all probably know my floral playsuit from my last weekly update (sorry for missing out the update of last week, but there wasn't anything really exciting happening to be honest) now I finally have some pictures of me wearing it on my blog. Actually I already wore it more than 6-7 times since I got it 3 weeks ago and it's probably my favorite playsuit ever (besides my tribal printed one I bought 1,5 years ago which is also by Spell). I'm madly in love with colorful floral prints, especially on black background. I think that playsuit has the most beautiful flower print I've ever seen because of its bright, beautiful colored flowers and if that's not enough there's this beautiful tanned brown chain print which resembles tooled leather. To sum it up the playsuit's colors match perfectly. There's also a cream version, but I preferred the black one (You all know black is probably my all time favorite 'color' I wear so often). The playsuit is probably the best invention for windy summer days, it is short, but you needn't watch out for it not to blow up, you know. BUT: It is SO annoying when you spend the whole day in town or somewhere else and have to use a public restroom, you literally have to take it off completely. ;-D
I dressed it up with my vintage findings like my new tribal necklace I got from a market, it's such a beautiful old, handcrafted piece which wasn't expensive at all! I'm also wearing my quite old booties I got two years ago at Zara. I think it is really worth buying high quality boots instead of cheap PU ones -  they will last for a really long time and you can wear them even after years!
_
The next days are going to be not really summer-like, it's constantly raining, it's cold and the sun doesn't  really show up. Being outside isn't really fun then, so I probably stuck at home, continue reading some books and post a bit more on my blog  - hope you all still have a great new week even though the weather might be ugly. xx

Jewelry Inspiration: "Wild hearts" by Dixi

My favorite jewelry website's new collection "wild hearts" I had been looking forward to for some weeks launched tonight and I immediately fall in love. I love the pictures from the shooting so much, they are so inspiring and make me even more miss the sea. I ended up ordering a few bracelets, a ring and a necklace. I will show you my new treasures soon, I'm so excited for my package to come (probably towards the end of the week). Jewelry's been my weakness and in my opinion you can never wear enough of bracelets or rings and at least one necklace. Well, now I continue with my lazy Sunday, enjoying the sun and dreaming of the ocean I haven't seen for a way too long time (the last time was 3 years ago).
xx
