Today I'm showing you one of my birthday presents - this beautiful kimono! I had an eye on this one for ages, it's my second kimono by Arnhem and I love its flowy fabric and tribal print. It's one of their first designs ever, but I think it's probably their best one! The tribal print in brown together with those colorful stripes on each of its arms looks perfect. Furthermore its asymmetrical hem and nice length make it an irreplaceable kimono in my wardrobe. Sometimes I think you're even more happy about having and wearing clothes you had on your mind a long time before you actually bought them. That makes them even more precious to oneself. :-)

I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit a bit more muted, so I wear my grey destroyed denim shorts and my cute lacey crop top from Nasty Dress - I always love crop tops + shorts under kimonos, especially when the weather heats up a black crop top is a wardrobe must-have! 

Ultimately let's talk about my new western suede boots, aren't they perrrrrfect? They have metal tips, western inspired engraving and are made of really soft tan suede. To be honest I hadn't owned any boots made of suede before, because those are very damageable when it's raining or very muddy outside. I guess I have to take extra care of them and even though they look used after a couple of wearings it doesn't matter - I guess that makes them even more personal and adds some Rock 'n' Roll to them, right?

Happy Monday, guys! Today I start the new week with a very 70's Rock 'n' Roll inspired outfit - festival season isn't far away anymore, right? My favorite time of the year has almost started (I know festivals are about music… But festival vibes in the fashion scene are as exciting as the music shows!) and the weather's been good to me and allows me to wear my suede jackets, too - does it get even better? :-) All my favorite shops are constantly releasing festival lookbooks, campaigns and tons of awesome clothes in 70s/hippie style (have you already seen my shopping ideas special post about 70's suede items? *click*)    which makes me eagerly excited about browsing through my favorite online shops and seeing all those amazing new clothes popping up every day.

Anyways, I'm so happy about having this jacket. You probably all know my hendrix jacket in white I got for christmas from my parents - well, I loved it so much that I wanted the version in tan suede, too. I know those jackets were very limited and definitely pretty expensive for me, so I almost accepted the idea of never having it, but I was so lucky to win a gift card when Spell Designs did a giveaway on Facebook (it was my first time ever I won something!) and suddenly that jacket became affordable. So just right on new year's eve I ordered this beauty and now I'm finally able to wear it outside. Talking about the outfit in general I wanted to create a very festival-like outfit, so I decided to wear a printed biker tee in order to put some western vibes to the look (A white one looks best with the tan suede, I think), some denim cut offs, tights (because it's still spring and a bit freezy..), tribal jewelry as usual and my heavy worn 1460 docs (THE perfect festival boot, btw! It can get all muddy, you know..).

Obviously there are 70s vibes in almost every online shop and store (which I love!) and of course clothes made of suede play an important role. The suede trend is so 70s, timeless and always good-looking. Suede clothes usually come in warm colors like tan, camel, oxblood, honey or cream and can be styled in so many different, beautiful ways. The brown color goes with almost everything, I personally love to combine it with black and white tones. Denim and crochet/lace fabrics are my favorites for creating outfits with suede! Furthermore vintage inspired boho and indian prints are seriously made for combining them with suede pieces! My favorite must-have? It's definitely the classic fringed western suede jacket - I've already had two of them. Furthermore I recently bought an awesome buttoned suede skirt, boots and a fringed vest which add that 70s revival to every look. Those won't be my last suede items in my wardrobe, I'm so excited for the upcoming clothes this season! I already saw some very stunning previews and sneak-peaks from big fashion retailers like H&M, Zara, Topshop or ASOS -  in the meantime I searched for some affordable statement & key pieces made of suede and collected them just for you - here you go! :-) xx

It's been pretty cold again here in Germany, so I still have to wear a warmer coat instead of flowy kimonos - I'm not even angry about this, 'cause I'm still able to wear this beautiful and my absolute favorite penny lane coat. It's originally from Zara and it was part of their AW collection in 2011. I found this beauty by chance on eBay and I knew I found the perfect coat! It's very similar to the coat Penny Lane wore in the movie Almost Famous, the coat has this huge faux fur collar and is made of suede. Btw the lining is probably the coziest faux fur lining you can imagine. This coat will never (never!) leave my wardrobe again, I think I'm starting to like the cold weather - maybe a bit too late when thinking of the next coming weeks when the weather's going to be super hot again haha.

This outfit post is probably very summer-preview like. Funnily enough, the german weather almost allowed to wear this dress without a jacket in the last 3 days! Now I'm looking through the window and all I see are clouds and the warm breeze turned into a cold one - hopefully it will change soon again. :-)

Now speaking about this dress - it's super cute, edgy and very boho chic. It's a less expensive copy of the dress For Love & Lemons sold a couple of months ago and even though it's not as pricy as this one, the quality still feels good. I'm sure off-shoulder blouses and dresses will be getting huge in summer 2015, they're simply amazing. I combined it with some western booties and tribal jewelry in order to dress it down and make it more every-day suitable.
