Outfit: Summer Safari.

Elephant print kimono: Kiss The Sky via ARK (or ASOS) || Crochet trim bralet: Urban Outfitters || Distressed shorts: Bershka (old) || Necklace: Vintage || Boots: Vagabond

The most perfect travel outfit! I wore that combo when I went by train and visited Essen and that kimono is perfectly snugly and light at the same time. It seems like everyone has at least one picture of the kimono on their Tumblr blogs, because it's quite popular, so it was no surprise it was sold out within a couple of weeks and already can be found overpriced on eBay… (which is unfair btw!).
Frankly I was able to get my hands on one when it was restocked on Ark.co.uk for the very last time. I've been crushing over indian elephant prints for such a long time now, those are simply cute and beautiful without looking childish or weird. Furthermore white/black combos are perfect for kimonos, because they literally go with every other colors. In my opinion it looks good with a plain black top, but as you know me I'm not a big fan of boring basic tops (I actually wear them only underneath t-shirts in winter…), so I combined it with my favorite bralet I wear quite a lot in the last hot days and my favorite shredded blue denim shorts.

Outfit: It's never too late to change our luck.

Floral crochet blouse: Romwe (sold out, get it at NastyGal)|| Destroyed shorts: Romwe || Boots: Ash || Lace bandeau: eBay || Ottoman necklace: Urban Outfitters

One of the most comfortable combos ever: A flowy blouse + some denim cut offs. Even though I don't own as many blouses as girls usually do (Instead I have billions of kimonos haha) I own a few I really love and wear a lot. That blouse is probably the most beautiful one I've ever seen, I love the crochet details and its deep V-neck. You definitely have to wear a bandeau/bustier underneath, because the neckline is indeed huge. But that's why it's also sexy and cute at the same time and perfect for summer.
I guess I also found the perfect shredded, grey denim shorts. They go with everything and I'm already looking forward to wearing them constantly together with some sheer or fishnet tights in fall or winter. They can be mixed with every top, kimono or shirt, I really love them and they will probably never leave my wardrobe.

Are you all excited for the weekend? Here in Germany it's going to be super hot again, can't wait to enjoy the sun. What are your plans? Are you going on holiday or stay at home as I (unfortunately) do?
Love xx

Weekly Update #6

New in…
I ordered this beautiful floral flowy kimono and L.A. tee by Forever 21 last Friday and received it this week, I love these two together! The combo expresses my wish "I wanna live in LA for the rest of my life" in every way haha. It's also the perfect dark summer combo.

Inspired…
Beautiful pictures from the Splendour Festival 2014 in Australia! I picked some favorites, it's a truly amazing fashion inspo. Typical native american influences, tribal patterns and woodstock revival feelings - awesome! See all pictures here & here.
Listened…
I posted this song on my private Facebook account and used the description "when music turns moments into magic" and I really think this might be the case while hearing that song. The chorus is perfect.

Wishlist…
I saw this amazing kimono jacket on the Forever21 US website, hopefully the european online shop will stock it, too. I NEED it!! :-D

Recently happening…
This week is quite unspectacular, I've been doing some outfit shoots, spending some time in town and hoping that rainy weather will stop. On some days I wish I could escape to disneyland and spend the rest of my life there haha. Would it ever get boring there?
Some instagram best-of I recently posted. Selfie featuring my "good hair day" (having beach waves every day now, somehow I like my hair better this way) and another one with my favorite dress for the really hot summer days. Yes, I woke up early at 3:15 am in the morning to watch Skrillex's show on the Lollapalooza live stream online. It was amazing and totally worth it, he makes me fall in love with his shows again and again. This must be true (alien) love!

Tumblr enchantment…
Beautiful pieces of art by "Danmala" - I love mandalas and these ones are probably the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. Especially because they're all made of products from nature like flowers, grass or leaves. I love those colors, too!

Outfit: Youth Of A Nation.

Rainbow tie-dye kimono: River Island || printed crop tee: Urban Outfitters || Lace shorts: Romwe || Belt: Lovestrength || Platform "Dioon" boots: Vagabond

I already bought that rainbow lace kimono a couple of months ago, but I couldn't wear it a lot, because it was quite chilly the months before. So I almost forgot about having this one and I was even more excited about it when I finally wore it. Tie-Dye prints are part of my favorite summer essentials, especially I love these pale/pastel colored rainbow ones like this one. It is from annual "Pacha" Ibiza collection by River Island and you definitely stand out while wearing this. It also got these cute, little beading details everywhere! Because the kimono is already quite colorful, I sticked to black for the rest of my outfit. You already know my favorite lace shorts from my previous outfit posts and one of my favorite printed crop tees I got on sale at Urban Outfitters in winter. To me pastel tie dye looks so good together with black clothes! It's a great contrast. The whole look is a little bit more grungier with some boho elements, I don't know why but when autumn is just around the corner, I've been looking forward to wearing my flannels, fishnet tights and docs again and being able to do some layering. But I definitely want summer to last way longer, it's my favorite season and I enjoy it to the fullest! So let's better not think of autumn coming! xx

Outfit: Back roads.

"Chiyo" Bralet: Brandy Melville || Jada Dress: Brandy Melville || Necklace: Vanessa Mooney || Platform Heels: Choies

The whole outfit is from Brandy Melville which is one of my favorite places to shop. I love the shop's beachy atmosphere with wooden floors, white vintage clothing hangers and lightish walls. I remember the first time shopping there in Munich when I really wanted to just right move in there haha. They have typical californian inspired clothing there and many cool print shirts, the most perfect cardigan sweaters and dresses. Their "Jada" dresses are the best thing to wear for super hot summer days, because these are so flowy! I kind of collect them, I've already owned three of them. They are cute and sexy at the same time because of the backless design. Furthermore the "Chiyo" top by Brandy fits perfectly to the dresses, I decided to get it in black because it fits to all my other dresses as well. Even though it's a simple white dress I wanted it to make it look more edgier, so I put on plenty of my boho vintage treasures like my hand piece you already know from previous posts. I'm totally obsessing over silver & turquoise jewelry, especially in summer. I've always been a huge fan of navajo rings, necklaces and cuffs. I would totally wear this outfit (without platform heels of course) while walking on the beach. Unfortunately it'll be another year of waiting until I see my beloved ocean again. Well, now my wanderlust came back.

Outfit: It took the death of hope to let you go.

Tie dye dress: The Editors Market (old) || Necklace: Vanessa Mooney via NastyGal || Bag customized with a dreamcatcher: Primark

I already owned that dress more than a year, but somehow I hadn't managed to take pictures with it before - it's a gorgeous summer dress, I love its cut-out detail in the front and tie dye print. Even if the colors are darker, it's still summer like! Here you can also see my probably most-worn bag ever. I got it for around 13€ at Primark last year and since then it accompanies almost every day when I'm in town or visit friends haha. Additionally I pimped it with a dreamcatcher. I love dreamcatchers, those are simply beautiful. Maybe I'll get a dreamcatcher tattoo one day, still thinking about it haha (Probably I'll still stick to the idea of getting a feather tattoo instead though… ).
Hope you all have a great weekend, I'm going to visit the local flea market again on Saturday and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather after it was constantly raining. xx
